I really thought I would keep this beauty, but I've found something else and decided on 12/20/2011 to reopen this listing. For sale is my rare Fender '51 reissue, crafted in Japan, with a transparent blonde finish(maybe it's considered a Mary Kay finish - I don't know). Signs of plater wear are minor scuffs and swirls in the finish, a ding in the headstock and two small dents on the bottom edge which are pictured. Not a museum piece, but the marks aren't bad IMO and can't be seen unless you're up close. The body is slab, and the color is different than US models in that it is a subtle transparent cream color. Neck width at the nut is 1" 11/16ths, weight is about 9 lbs. Pickup and bridge covers, and hard case (worn, but clean inside and functional) are included. No trades please.
