FS: Fender CIJ Jaguar Bass - Final price drop

Sign in to disble this ad

PRICE DROP!

$650 $575 $525 $475

$445 shipped UPS

---

$750 $675 $625

$545 with case

Continental US only

Once I shielded the bass I grew to love her. I've switched the knobs out for some big old radio knobs made out of aluminum. I will include the other knobs I bought for it as well. I connected my shield job to go under the bridge. Some old timers thought it looked really cool. I will try to take more pictures and post them when I can, but here are pics of the stamp and nicks and such. Thanks for looking.

DISCLAIMER: I will post this locally also. I won't leave the thread hanging if something happens.

I mean to be 100% transparent. If you have questions I will do my best. I'm not a huge gear nerd. I will be working in a different state for a long time each day this week, so I may be a little slow to respond. Thanks.

Rubber wear streaks from the feet of other gear. I don't know if it can be cleared up or not, but the case is very structurally sound.

Yea I was asking about the first pic, but then I started looking and noticed that its not like that in another pic. Thanks for the answer I didn't not know that. What's the benefit to shielding, I've played bass for 12 yrs and never heard of such??

The "bare wood" in the first picture is foam I used to get a country sound. It was so much of a permanent feature I had not thought to take it off until did a close up and thought, "oh yea! no one uses that anymore!" lol. Sorry for any confusion.

The benefit of shielding is to silence and hum or fuzz a bass can pick up from its own electronics or from a stage environment like certain types of lights and other signals. It may look a little funky but it is oldschool and tamed this Jag.

There's a wire that grounds the bridge to the knobs in the control cavity, you can just tie the shielding onto that wire and it'll do just as well as what you have now without the tape sticking out. Might help it sell better.

Had some interested offers but never received funds, so I think I am going to close this one down. Thanks for looking.
