Greetings!
Up for sale is my black Fender Jazz bass. It's the Mexican-made reissue of the 70s style Jazz bass. It's got a beautiful rosewood neck with pearl blocks and white binding. It's a beauty!
It's in great condition. The only blemish that I can recall is a scratch on the back of the neck. I'll give it a thorough look-over when I take updated pictures and report back if I find any other imperfections.
The bass comes with a couple of upgraded components. I swapped out the control plate for an Audere JZ3. It is the three band version and has a really neat Z-Switch allowing you to get a variety of different tones with a flick of a switch. If you haven't heard of this preamp then you should definitely check it out. You can find details
here. It is a great preamp and it really brought this bass to life. I'll include the factory tone and volume controls as well.
The other upgrade was a bridge swap. The factory bridge was fine but some of the saddles would click together when I played near the bridge. I put on a used Badass II, which is considered to be one of the best bridges to use. I have the original bridge and will send them in the gig bag with the bass.
The price is
$650 shipped / SOLD anywhere in the continental US. I will ship the bass and the original control plate and bridge in a gig bag. I'm not looking for any trades because I need the money to fund an amp purchase -- unless you have an Ampeg SVT-VR or 70s SVT and would like to do a trade + money transaction.
I will update this post with pictures and a more detailed review of its condition in a while.
Thanks for looking! Pictures coming soon.

The only blemishes that I found were the scratch on the neck. I'm not sure how it came to be. It seems to follow that line on the back of the neck (I'm not sure what that's called). It can be felt while playing but seems to only be on the surface of the coating. It could probably be smoothed out if you know what to use. The neck plate has some scratches on it. I've taken pictures of both of these imperfections, which can be found in the gallery above.
