OK here it is and it hurts but I'm just not a 5 string guy, no matter how hard I try. This bass is an 06 Fender custom shop bass that is simply the definitive 5 string jazz in all ways. It's used and has been played but pampered. No nicks, dings or gouges through finish anywhere that I can find. The only actual scratches are on the neck plate and I have included a pic. Perfect function in all ways. It's a lightweight Jazz 5 string at around 9 pounds. The case has numerous love bites in the tolex, but that's all they are. The hinges and all hardware are excellent. All case candy, original hang tags, wrench, unused strap, manual and of course Fender Custom Shop certificate of authenticity. As usual the pics tell the true story. $1850 SOLD pending Pay Pal echeck.
Please feel free to present any reasonable offer, it's got to go. This bass plays and sounds as only a custom shop Fender can. Way beyond a typical jazz bass. Don't wait on this one. If ya snooze ya lose!

Lovely looking bass - how's the setup on it? Does it play well?
I have had varied experience with Fender 5s, but given its CS heritage, I assume it's good. |

It's all about the philosophy of the Custom Shop to achieve perfection with these basses. I have the same cs basses in a 4 mp/pearl and one with a rw/pearl fb, I love em. Believe this, it's not getting played because I'm not a 5 guy, so it's got to go. I'm shooting some new pics today I'll post asap.
