For sale is my 2006 Fender Deluxe Active P Bass® Special in EXCELLENT (9.5 out of 10) condition with the Tweed Hard Case Shell (a bit road worn on the exterior but overall very good shape and interior is great).
Looks, Plays & Feels wonderful! An amazing instrument that has been meticulously cared for.
Arguably one the best values and most versatile basses in the Fender inventory. Never thought I would sell this one, but part of my rotating and thinning herd and its not getting enough attention. You get the most of all worlds with this Bass. Active/Passive, Precision/Jazz bass tones/body (but slightly smaller than a standard P-Bass) with Jazz bass neck. Slim and fast. It has the standard P-Bass pickup and also a 'Noiseless' J-Bass pickup, near the bridge. Its just a purely magnificent bass and sure to please all.
The bass body is gloss black with a gorgeous, slick maple neck/fretboard. As you can see, the original stock Fender bridge was upgraded to a Leo Quann BadAss II bridge. Likewise, the original cheap gold Fender pick-guard was upgraded to a really pristine cream pearloid pick-guard.
The bass was just professionally set-up with D'Addario XL Chrome Flatwounds.
