FS Fender Deluxe Zone MIM 4 string active P/J-Price dropped

Selling my fender zone bass. awesome bass in my opinion. Its an extremely versatile p/j. Ive heard others on this site compare it to victor wootens monarch. Im selling it because its a four string and I have a preference to fives due my background in urban contemporary gospel music. Also im gearing up to purchase a new jazz bass. Its an 02. Its winter green although it looks silver in some pictures. there is only one scratch just above the input jack, just a cosmetic issue. other than that nothing is wrong with the bass. Here's wikipedias description

The Mexican made Fender Zone bass is essentially the same design as the Fender Precision Bass Lyte, which was manufactured in Japan, except for the addition of a set of custom-wound hum-cancelling P/J pickups and a 3-band active EQ powered by a single 9V battery. The J-style bridge unit is supposed to be a customized version of a pre-2004 Deluxe Active Jazz Bass pickup. On the five-string Zone, it's essentially a Vintage Noiseless Jazz Bass pickup with solid covers. The Zone replaced the P-Bass Lyte after its discontinuation in late 2000. Despite their similarities, the Zone costs slightly less than the P-Bass Lyte. A five-string version of the Mexican Zone Bass was launched in 2005.

I'm letting it go for $385 $350 $315 + shipping Firm. I live in Tallahassee, Florida. I calculated shipping (using fedex) shouldn't be more than $20 in any case in the contiguous United States. So this is actually a price drop. If you want to calculate shipping for yourself the dimensions of the box im shipping it in is 51x20x5 inches. My zip code is 32304 So this is in effect another and the final price drop. Trades considered.

just to clear a couple questions i keep getting asked there is no case i included. I will be shipping the bass inside of an old beat up gig bag of mine for added cushioning inside the box as well other methods of cushioning. The gig bag is free. So there is no price drop for declining the gig bag. If you would prefer it shipped in a hard case i can do that but, i would charge an extra $50 for the hard case knocking the price up to $315 its a fender hard case for those of you into brand names.

8 pounds according to my bathroom scale. Its definitely lighter than my Ibanez SR505 which is 8.7 pounds. and I have done four hour gigs with the ibanez no problem. So its pretty good on weight unless you're one of those guys who likes heavy basses.

this bass is a real player guys. The tone is very versatile. An active 3 band eq with pickup blend makes this bass able to do whatever you want. it can get a good low end growl, but also some warm punch. Its lightweight so good for long gigs but, a monster nevertheless. The neck is ultra fast and comfy. I could never say enough about how great this bass is and for $315 bucks its a steal. I'm honestly surprised it's been here this long. But, the classifieds have been extremely slow lately.

Dang that's a nice color. Reminds me of my Wilkins Custom. Somewhere between Inca silver and green sparkle.

Yeah. Its an acquired taste. Some people love it some hate it. If you are in a club with alot of lights it'll generally take on whatever color the lights are showing at the time. shines nice in the sun too.

As far as trades go I would really like an SX 5 string jazz, preferably with ash body and maple neck to use as a project bass plus $130. All other jazz basses are cool to0 just preferably 5 strings. I'm open to other basses as well I've just too really been itching for a jazz. But if it comes down to it I would really prefer cash. $315 plus shipping on your end.
