It's tax season...I have to let one of my babies go. Up for sale is my MIJ Fender E Series Precision in Ocean Turquoise. The bass does have plenty of mojo, but it really sings and is super resonant. The bass has a Badass II bridge, new Wilkinson tuners (the tuners line up perfectly with the original holes), a serviceable tort guard, a nice mellow set of old-formula Fender flats, the original alnico pickup (which is MIA, if memory serves), original pots and a new input jack. The control cavity and bridge ground is copper shielded.
There are plenty of surface scratches around the bass, and a few that go through the finish as well what I would describe as a "gash" that you can no doubt see in the photos. There's also a small chip out of the bottom side of the neck pocket. None of these affects the playability of the bass in any way.
These E Series MIJ Precisions have the best necks I've ever played, and this one is a great example of that. The frets have barely any wear, the neck is perfectly straight and the truss works like a champ. Very comfortable 1.75" nut and 62 RI-esque profile. Weight of the bass is just under 9 pounds.
The bass will be shipped very well packed without case or gigbag as I don't have any spares to include with it.
If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. No trades, please.
