FS: Fender FSR Antigua Jazz

Selling this rare limited run jazz! It is one of the special factory run basses Fender did with the Antigua finish. Very cool looking bass. Think they only made 200 each (P-bass and Jazz), but not positive. They're not easy to find and I don't think you can buy them in stores anymore, as they've all been sold.

Asking $650 shipped with a Fender gig bag. Bass is dead mint. Was purchased then sat in a corner and looked pretty. Here are pics.

Such a nice bass, so glad I got one.
Pure 70's tone.

The color turns most off, but you can offset that with a different pickguard. It makes it much more pretty.

It's a very polarizing look. I think you either love it or hate it. Pretty neat looking in my opinion!

Personatech 01-29-2013 05:00 PM

Weight of this bass?

Lazarus.Bird 01-29-2013 07:59 PM

Sorry, only looking to sell. I'll check on the weight and get back to you guys!

Frankewhite 01-29-2013 08:27 PM

It blows my mind that if one owned that bass...that they would ever be willing to part with it. Let alone for under a grand. Good luck!

Broadstbully22 01-29-2013 08:33 PM

Oh my. Are you sure no trades. I want this bad. Ill even maybe not talk badly about the penguins for a year. Lol

Lazarus.Bird 01-31-2013 07:15 AM

Sorry yes, no trades, even if you'd promise to only play it while wearing a Crosby jersey ;)

Weight of the bass is 9.5 lbs.

Lazarus.Bird 02-01-2013 01:00 PM

Bump!

I couldn't imagine what color pick guard you would offset that with.

Ooooo...a nice hefty one. I dig a bass with some density. The stuff coming out of Mexico these days is just stellar (especially with maple boards), and that finish is tits IMHO.

GLWTS!

monkeybass68 02-03-2013 11:18 AM

Good to know (for me that is). Hoping I sell mine soon so I can scoop this one up!
