FS: Fender FSR Hot Rod Jazz

I bought this bass brand new nine days ago, polished it up, oiled the fretboard, lowered the action and strung it up with a new set of Fender 7250s, 45-105. Bottom line is I guess I'm just not a Jazz bass guy, as I prefer the sound of both my P/J and SR4.

This bass is equipped with the S-1 switch for greater tonal variety. Also standard to the FSR Hot Rod are a Bad Ass II bridge, Fender Samarium Cobalt noiseless pickups and a nitrocellulose laquer finish in Olympic White with matching headstock.

The bass has one 3 mm scratch through the paint on the upper cutaway, very slight swirling on the pickguard and a couple of tiny bruises not through the finish, otherwise pristine cosmetically. Action is low with zero fret buzz. Bass will come with flawless G&G brown tolex/gold factory case with all case candy.

$950 + shipping

It is MIA and the fit and finish is just like a custom shop Fender. Super nice basses...I had one and regret selling it often. Too bad I don't have the scratch...just bought a P Bass from my birth year.

Yes, this bass is MIA, although the serial number Z06 indicates the neck, at least, was made in 2006? But it is a genuine FSR Hot Rod Jazz, no question about that!

I'll get some pictures up in a few minutes of the flaws if the camera can pick them up - the good thing is that they mostly are on the bottom back of the body, slight shopwear stuff, no big gouges or chunks.

As for trades, I'm set on basses and amps, the only piece I might consider is an OBC115 cab.

Two more pics: upper cutaway/horn close to strap button, dinky chips on headstock.
