New-to-me gear coming in, new-to-you gear going out. Dig these two:
First up is a Fender Geddy Lee Jazz, of which I am the original owner. Purchased new in April of this year. Weighs 10.4 lbs. on my digital bathroom scale. You know this bass: MIJ, legendarily thin neck profile, awesome player favored by Rush's resident bass god. Upside to this particular model: pronounced grain in the maple fretboard (pics don't do it justice, trust me), black pearloid guard from WD (I'll include the original white one), Dunlop Straplok-ready buttons, and an Audere JZ3 preamp installed, which really puts this bass in a whole 'nother tone category. Strung with just-broken-in DR Lo Riders. Downside is a small ding on the underside of the lower horn, not through to the wood (see pic), a few light scratches in the clearcoat here and there, mostly on the back of the bass, which aren't particularly noticeable and could most likely be polished out with 3M or Maguire's or some such (but on a black bass, why bother, you'll just be doing it again tomorrow), and the fact that I no longer have the original control plate and pots to include -- although these are easy to find if you decide you want to return it to passive. You won't, though, because the Audere sounds killer. I also have a Fender tweed case in excellent condition I can ship in if the buyer wants extra protection.
$700 shipped CONUS with case, $650 shipped CONUS without. PayPal. SOLD to my main man moeroncuban.

Next up is a sunburst Fender Standard Jazz Fretless 4 with lines, of which I am the original owner. Purchased new in 2007. Weighs 9.2 lbs. on my digital bathroom scale. This is MIM with some pretty key upgrades: Gotoh 201 bridge, Dimarzio DP123 Model J pickups and push/pull series/parallel mod to the tone pot (both pro installed), a tort guard from WD (I'll include the original white guard), and Dunlop Straplok-ready buttons; old-school look with a beefed-up sound. Strung with well-played D'Addario Half Rounds. Sounds mwah-y and buttery. No real wear to speak of, never gigged, has been a housebound player only. I'm not playing much fretless these days, but if you are, or if you want to for not too much outlay, you'll enjoy it. Ships in a basic Fender gig bag; one of the two zipper pulls is broken in half on the bag, but the zipper itself works just fine, and other than that the bag is pretty mint.
$475 shipped CONUS. PayPal. SOLD to the excellent bassman_al.

I only have a few transactions on TB so far, but I have 100% positive feedback on over 50 transactions on eBay, some of which were basses and amps I sold. I pack carefully and insure, they way I like it done when I buy on forums and auction sites, so no worries. I'll entertain offers on either of these, so don't be shy, post in the thread or shoot me a PM.
