FS: Fender Highway One Precision bass

I just bought this bass from a fellow TB'er, and it's a great player, but I've figured out that I'm just a Lakland guy...

This bass plays great and looks fantastic. The trans-butterscotch finish gives it a nice blackguard look, and it comes with straplocks. Plus, it has a nice pinup girl on the back. Currently strung with flats and comes with a Fender tweed gigbag, will be packed well for shipping.

$500 shipped to the lower 48.

The only trade I would be interested in is for a Lakland Glaub, with cash coming from me, of course. Paypal is fine.

And here's the original ad: F/T feeler Fender Highway 1 Precision

Is the Pinup girl painted or a decal?
Wonder how easy it would be to get off.

Decal. It would be very easy to take off.

The best way to remove it from the bass without harming the finish—residue and all—is to use naphtha, which works well on all finish types, including nitrocellulose lacquer. You can get it from your local box hardware store.

Since I was recently asked, I'll answer it here; the bass comes from a non-smoking home, and I've never played it in a bar that allowed smoking. So neither the bass or gig bag smell like smoke.

Oh, and since I've been asked a few times, the bass weighs just a hair over 8 pounds on the bathroom scale.
