FS:Fender Hot Rod FSR Jazz/ONEDAYONLYDEAL! $900

Sign in to disble this ad
This bass is sweet. The matching headstock is gorgeous! There is no fret wear or dead spots on the neck. The action is low-medium for a Fender. The strings are pretty new (.45-.105). I do not have the original case, but will include a 2006 molded Fender Case. The bass has one tiny ding on the back of its body, which I documented in the pictures.

First $900 plus shipping takes it! I will ship anywhere at buyers' expense.

Here are details from Musicians Friend:
This Fender Hot Rod Jazz Bass is a Factory Special Run. It is fitted with 2 Samarium Cobalt Noiseless Jazz Bass pickups, a 2-position push/push S-1 switch, and a Volume 1 (with S-1 switching) position, Volume 2 (bridge position), and master tone controls. It has a 4-ply turquoise pickguard, a Leo Quan Badass II bridge, an alder body, a C-shaped maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, chrome hardware, and a gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The Hot Rod Jazz Bass is another example of the Fender craftsmanship that has kept them at the forefront of the bass guitar world.

And specs from Musicians Friend:
# Alder body
# Maple, modern C-shaped
# neck
# Rosewood fingerboard (9.5" radius)
# 20 medium jumbo frets
# 34" scale length
# 1.50" width at nut
# Chrome hardware
# Standard machine heads
# Leo Quan Badass II bridge with 4 pre-grooved saddles
# 4-ply tortoise pickguard
# 2 Samarium Cobalt Noiseless Jazz Bass pickups
# 2-position push/push S-1 Switch
# Volume 1 (with S-1 switch) neck pickup controls
# Fender Super Bass 7250L strings
# Gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish

Pictures:

One day. If it does not sell by tomorrow morning it is going on eBay.

MOH, new Fender bridges can not get strings extremely low like other bridges allow certain strings to get. I think the action is low and very comfortable for a jazz if that helps

Entertaining a trade offer, but would rather sell out right. It's going to the bay in 5 or so hours. Someone pick it up cheap!

Didn't hit the reserve so it's up for sale here again! $900 takes it.
