**SOLD** FS: Fender Jaguar Bass Guitar, Hot Rod Red, w/Gig-bag, Excellent!

Sign in to disble this ad
**SOLD** For sale is my 2006 Hot Rod Red, Fender Jaguar Bass Guitar in great condition. This bass was purchased new in 2008 at Guitar Center.

As you know these amazing instruments were just discontinued so they are becoming rare, and especially rare in such nice shape.

This Jaguar is in excellent condition and overall I would say it is at least a 9 out of 10. It looks, plays, feels and sounds wonderful!

The bass was professionally set up, neck is straight, action is low and the thin amazing maple Jazz neck is super smooth and fast. Ready to go!

One of the most versatile basses ever and one of the all time best in Fender’s inventory. For those of you familiar with the Jaguar, you know the bass...incredible axe! I am simply ‘thinning my herd’ of basses for the Spring…this Jaguar was always very well-maintained.

Currently strung with Ernie Ball Slinkys and I am including a Fender Gig-bag.

Serial Number = S013684 [Fuji Gen Plant, Japan]

Product Features
- Alder body with high-gloss polyurethane finish
- 1-piece C-shaped, thin maple neck with bolt-on neck joint and a 1-1/2" nut width features a gloss poly finish
- Rosewood fingerboard with 20 vintage-style frets and a 9-1/2" fingerboard radius and aged white pearloid block position markers
- Standard 4-saddle bridge
- 2 vintage style Jazz Bass® single-coil pickups with an on/off slide switch for each pickup and a Series/Parallel slide switch for use when pickups are combined
- Controls include master tone, master volume, preamp treble control wheel, preamp bass control wheel, preamp on/off slide switch, neck pickup on/off switch and bridge pickup on/off switch
- Vintage style tuning machines
- 3-ply white pickguard
- Scale Length: 34"

For some info and discussion, check out:

Fender® News

Asking $675 650 Shipped CONUS

The bass/gig-bag will be packed and shipped securely and professionally. I hope the bass will make someone very happy!

Thanks for looking. If you have ANY questions, please let me know.

I tried my best to describe the bass as best as possible and use photos the illustrate the condition.

I *love* mine--it is both a precision and jazz in one.

re: red jag

I just bought this exact bass 4 weeks ago from craigslist and it's become my favorite bass. These are great deals, someone snap this up!

Thanks! Believe it or not, I am [was] a 3 Jag owner. I just sold the black one for $675, I am selling this MINT red one, but will keep my white one only because it was autographed by Adam Clayton. They are gems! Like I said in my original post, one of the best ever in Fender's inventory.

Have a great weekend.

JM

Sat morning bump! Come on now.. My Black Jag sold for $675 in a day and this one is even nicer and cleaner...It needs a home. Somebody make me a real offer. I thought this would be a goner....Thanks for the trade offers. Not looking for a trade on this one unless it is BloodyWanker1's Peavey Cirrus...

Thanks for looking....

Free bump for the first fender bass I ever played and liked. My jag has become my goto bass for all scenarios. The flexibility in tone is ridiculous.

Someone buy this!

Thanks for all the support and validation! No, Indonesia a bit too far. The shipping would cost more than the bass! Good luck, Selamat malam and Terima kasih !

Damn, that's a great looking bass! If you've still got it when I get paid early next month you've got a buyer. You won't still have it though. No way that bass will last. What a beauty!

LOL...I realize this is my first post and it might look that way. Or that you have an alter ego or something. Seriously though, I just love the Jag. I can't believe they stopped making them.

What are you feeding your Jag, Big Macs? Just weighed again on my bathroon scale. Hovering around 9 lbs. Possible 1 lb off but not 2.

Thought I had a local sale last night, but she wanted to pay with a check... I am a trusting guy, but.... So still avail.

Have a great day!
