For your consideration is this beautiful Fender Standard Jazz Bass. Made in Mexico in 2007. Midnight Wine finish with rosewood fretboard, and with significant, professionally installed upgrades. For sale only; no trades, please. Paypal or money order okay. I'm the original owner. I upgraded to Dimarzio Area Jazz pickups (hum cancelling, vintage tone), a Badass II slotted bridge, Genuine Fender Tortoiseshell pickguard, and Dunlop Strap-Locks. Weight is 9.2 pounds.
NO CASE OR GIG BAG INCLUDED. Originally I was going to pack it in a padded Road Runner gig bag, but I've decided to keep the bag. This allows me to streamline the packaging dimensions and save money on shipping costs, and I am passing the savings along.
I pack very securely using 3/4 inch styrofoam panels which I buy at Lowe's specifically for shipping gear. I have shipped basses using this method and the buyers have been very happy with the packaging despite not shipping in a gig bag or case. Love the bass; always get compliments on the looks and the tone; but I'm using my 08 MIA Precision bass exclusively now, and I need to pay bills. A few minor nicks (see pics) but overall it's in very good condition; primarily used at home, and at church on occasion.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks,

Thanks, | I've been very happy with the fretwork and fingerboard. Really a smooth player, with a beautiful warm, traditional (yet hum-free!) Jazz Bass tone thanks to the Dimarzio Area Jazz neck and bridge pickups, and a joy to play; very comfortable feel all around. The high mass Leo Quan Badass II slotted bridge just makes the notes sustain beautifully and makes it very easy to keep the bass in perfect tune and intonation. Major upgrades that really make this bass stand out!
