Hi All:
I went on a wild spending spree this week. As such, I'm going to have to sell off some of my basses to recoup cash.
Up for sale is my 1993 Fender Standard Jazz Bass. This bass is in good shape. There is minor fret wear at the first 7 wires under the E & A strings. Not enough to be an issue, but the wear is disclosed. The board is in excellent shape. I'm unsure of body wood. It weighs 9.2 lbs, so I'm thinking alder. It may be basswood though. The finish is standard Fender black and has it's share of player wear on it. No chips or missing paint, but there is buckle / playing rash on the back and minor blems on the front. There are a few minor dings on the back of the neck. Nothing noticeable during play. All electronics and hardware work as they should. All chrome is in excellent condition. 21 fret neck with rosewood board. Truss rod works fine. Passive electronics with Vol, Vol, Tone. The pickups have been upgraded with Seymor Duncan Basslines 1/4 Puonder Pickups at the bridge and the neck. The bridge has been upgraded with a Badass II. The pickguard has been replaced with a genuine Fender replacement. Two holes on the new guard didn't line up. I did not drill more holes. I'll include screws if you want to drill them. Serial # MN31XXXXX.
This bass could use a good setup. It plays OK, but if I were keeping it I would get it set up.
No case of any kind included.
