Up for sale, one Fender Jazz Bass Special from some time in the late 80's. I think this bass has a 1/6" nut, but the neck is very Jazz like - slim and fast.
I dumped the old pickups (but still have them and will include) and put in a set of Basslines - a tremendous improvement IMHO. I also replaced the bridge with a Badass II, again a major upgrade IME.
Since this bass is over twenty years old, it does have its dings - most notably by the bridge (some colored scuffing, and a chip out of the paint that I tried to capture on film). Also, there is a ding on the back of the neck, but really more of a dent and does not affect playability at all.
Full disclosure: the input jack on occasion will cut in and out on you. If I were gonna keep this bass, I would either replace it or re-solder the connections. But I just picked up a fretless G&L L2000 - so this has gotta go!
The color is really a bit more yellow in person. Comes in a functional but beat up Fender case. Bass is currently strung with TI Jazz Flats.
