I recently made the move back to 5 string basses, so my former number one player has to go (the cash will help with presents, too). I got this here on TB and it has been a great year.
It is an ‘06 Highway One finished in White Blond with some great upgrades. Here is the deal:
The Good:
+ Hipshot tuners, including a detuner – much better than the stock tuners
+ Nordstrand NJ4SV pickups – sound AWESOME (a $200 upgrade right there)
+ Babicz Bridge (replaced the stock BadAssII – I just couldn’t get a good string spacing out of that)
+ Volume/Balance/Tone wiring from Best Bass Gear. I also have the Greasebucket V/V/T with CTS pots that I could add for a price, ***or I could swap it back in and take $50 off the price!***
+ Push button strap-locks. I can include the original strap buttons
It is currently strung up with La Bella 760FL Flats
The neck is fabulous!
The Mojo:
Nitro finish wear at the usual places. It has the wear because it is a great player!
Some dents into the wood on the bottom of the bass – if you want perfect body, this isn’t the bass for you.
If you want a great-sounding bass that feels great in your hands THIS IS IT!
