FS: Fender MIJ '75 Jazz Reissue

My band members jokingly call her Blondie, but it seems I'm more into brunettes these days. I've been buying and selling basses a lot lately to find the one to fit my needs for right now and I think I've found it in the new Alder/RW American Deluxe 5-string I just bought. But I can't afford to keep both, so this one has got to go.

It sounds like a great 70's jazz bass. For those who know Hub from the Roots, this is the bass he's been using with them for well over a decade both live and in the studio. In fact, it even has the same pickups in it that he uses: active EMGs. Sadowskys also used to use EMGs back in the day. This one has got them, too.

It's a great slapper and can also get really smooth for fingerstyle. Beautiful ash grain with natural finish, nice-looking maple fretboard bound in white and blocked in pearloid, white PG. Wish I could keep it, but it doesn't look like she's going to get the use that she deserves.

Comes with a used Levy's padded gigbag, a Fender strap, and freshly installed DR Hi beams 45-105. Selling for $700 shipped to lower 48. Cash only. Only trades considered are for good-quality leather gigbags, new or worn, black or dark brown, + cash.

Thanks for looking and let me know if you have any questions!!

Hey Grady! This was a great bass and really smoked like you said! I just got three basses in the past couple of weeks, a Fender RW jazz and a new Fender American Deluxe that arrived the day after this MIJ came in. I can only keep two and I hate to say that this will get the least playing time with the bands that I'm in right now. The Fender AD slaps well enough that I don't need 70's style slap bass like I thought I would. Take it easy!
