no much market for the Dirnts, but these are a highly underated bass. The biggest drawback for most is the neck. It is a little chunky, but it's not that bad.

I had one for a while and it was solid, great tone. The pup was pretty hot and was much better than most P basses in this range. Great price for mint condition Dirnt. You dont have to be a Green Day fan to enjoy the bass, it's essentially a custom MIM P bass. For the price here I'd grab this over a standard MIM anyday (I just prefer Jazz basses and have no cash).

It's not about Green Day for me, it's just a well built, good overall feeling P bass. I find the stock pup to be rather weak. I didn't put it on the scale but probably atleast 9 lbs, heavier than an American P. I'm leaning towards hanging onto it with such little interest, maybe swap the pickup and see how it responds!

Forgive me, but just to be clear, this is the Fender model, not the Squier model, correct? I'm interested in the bass, just want to be sure.

one thing i would of done if i kept mine loved the feel of the neck and all would be to put in a fender original or a nordstrand pickup. thats the weak link for me too about the bass.
