FS Fender Mim Jazz/ Squier 5 st P/ Sx Fretless Jazz LPB/ Cozart POS

PRICE DROP!!!: Recently, I've been gathering basses & parts so that I can build myself a Jazz bass with a P pickup. Then this weekend, I found one on Ebay that was exactly what I was wanting. Had to buy it... Now I have to unload some basses quickly to make up for my recent purchase!

Here's a group photo of what's for sale at this time (most likely, more to come!):

1: SOLD! Squier Precision 5 string; Excellent condition 155, shipped Con. U.S.
2: SOLD! Cozart 4 string; possibly the lightest bass that I have ever owned (6-7lbs?). Obviously a Ibanez copy, has some neck issues, dirty, needs TLC. C'mon...a bass for $55? at least it would be fun to smash on stage!! $55, shipped Con. U.S.
3:ON HOLD! Alot of inquiries on this one, yet no follow throughs; Mim Fender Jazz (1987?); Traditional series. Great bass. $200 shipped Con. U.S.
4: SOLD! SX LPB Fretless Jazz; Brand new ( I've had it less than a month). Bought it just to fret & add a P pickup, but decided it's too nice of a bass to mess with. It's completely stock and plays & sounds great (in an SX way!)! $125, shipped Con. U.S.

These are the first and only price drops for these. I think they are fair; you decide for yourself. Thanks for looking.

I'll be glad to send you more pic's of whatever bass your interested in.
Not really into trades (yeah, right!), I really need the cash. I prefer Paypal or a U.S.P.S. M/O.

haha... i like you called the Ibanez a POS... haha... Is the Squier 5 metal flake? How does the SX compare in sound to a Squier VM Fretless? Does it sound like an upright like the Squier does? Or does the rosewood opposed to the ebanol sound different? It shure would look pretty w. a tort pickguard.

The Yellow bass is a "Cozart", probably made at one of the Ibanez factories; I have no idea where. The neck is squirrelly. It needs fretwork at the very least. Everything else works. It even sounds decent. It was hanging in someones garage when I got it; like I said it is dirty and needs to be cleaned up. It weighs 7-8lbs (I'm guessing).

The Squier is metallic black.

The SX came with flatwounds and the rosewood board does not have a finish on it; It does have a somewhat "woody" sound to it, but I don't think it sounds like an upright. I'm sure a lot of that would have to do with the set up and your playing style. I have never played a Squier VM, so I can't answer that question. It is a nice playing and sounding bass. I agree about the tortise pickguard; That is what i was going to put on it.

Wow. Everything moves at once!. As of now. The Jazz is on hold, The Sx is sold and the Squier 5 string is sold. That leaves the Cozart/Ibanez copy. Basically it's it's a project bass. It does need neck work, but if if your looking for a bass to hone your repair skills on, you couldn"t pick a better one. Shipping will be at least $20, so you're getting a bass for $35.

I'm going to keep this one on here for one more day, But I think it's going to have to go on "that auction" site.

Thanks to everyone for helping me out!
