FS - Fender MIM Jazz V - 2010

Bought this new on a whim at the end of last December. Still has plastic on the guard and has not left my smoke-free home. Comes strung with new LaBella Deep Talkin' flats as well as he original rounds, plus a Fender gig bag and all tags, candy etc. Absolutely like new (new price is $700, without bag). In the store, this one played better than two MIAs and and another MIM. No dead spot. The 5-string experiment is over for me. Will sell for $495, shipped by UPS ground in the CONUS. Paypal is fine. Not looking for trades, but you never know.

How's the output on the new MIMs? I've read a lot of good things about the new models.

To my ears, the output is very good. I bought this because I thought it was stronger and clearer than the MIA models in the store, and the workmanship is spot on. The balance across all strings is excellent and clear. This is a very good bass - I'm just going to stay with 4-strings.

Any interest in a G&L SB-2 Tribute with tone mod and 3-way pickup select switch? I'm looking for a 5'r so reluctantly my SB-2 is on the market. It's in awesome shape with TKL soft shell case.
