FS: Fender/Moses Fretless Jazz

I'm selling my 1998 Fender American Standard Jazz with Moses Graphite unlined fretless neck. This plays very nicely, but I'm moving away from four strings in general. No trades, please.

The body is nicely figured Ash in a natural gloss finish. It has a few light nicks, nothing noticeable from over a foot away. It currently has a black PG and thumbrest. Pickups are DiMarzio 123s.

The graphite composite neck is great. It's unlined with side dots and a Fender headstock shape, and has Hipshot Ultralite tuners. This bass has worn Fender 9050M flats since it was created, so there's no fingerboard wear.

Also included is a Fender original hard case in great shape.

Now $600 plus shipping. Would prefer a local Chicago-area sale to prevent having to ship and to allow the purchaser a chance to try it out first. Thanks!

That's a really nice looking bass, Ken.

Free bump, though I'm more into fivers these days too.

Bet it growls like nobody's business, though. Mmmm.

A graphite neck, ebonol board, and Model Js? Sir, that's SICK and WRONG. I'm afraid that we're gonna have to call Homeland Security on you.

Actually, per Moses the board is "integrated graphite", not Ebonol. But, yes - it roars!

Nope - sold it years ago. Yes, it was fretted.
