I got this 2008 Fender American Standard Precision V a couple months ago from a fellow TB'er. It is a wonderful 5'er. The build quality exceeds the couple 90's Fender Jazz basses Ive had. Heavier string through bridge. Fit and finish is top notch. If you like a wider string spacing compared to an EBMM Stingray5, this is for you. It's a 5'er and the great thing is, it sounds like a Precision should! Like the TB'er I've bought it from, I've decided to just keep my 4 bangers and off my 5'ers. While the Low B is not as meaty as a Lakland 35" scale 5'er, it is a very nice low B in its own right. There is not a mark on this bass.
Comes with the new hardshell Fender latch cases and all case candy. I promise you it's like new in every respect.
I strung it with TI Flats, then had to set it up again. I can leave the Flats on or put new rounds on for you, but you'll have to do the set up if rounds go back on. It also has Schaller straplocks on it which I can remove - your choice.
I don't have a shipping box just yet. This is the prior owner's picture - I'll take some more tomorrow morning. I'll only ship to US -sorry. I don't know the weight, but it's easily under 10#. I can "bathroom scale" it tonight. Probably low 9's I'm guessing - it's way lighter than my Stingray 4.
I might consider a Lakland 5001 trade + $600 just to say I have a 5'er, but this is probably only an outright sale guys. Here are some specs for you
