BOTH BASSES ARE SOLD
Okay folks, too many basses, somethings's gotta give. And although I HATE to sell a perfectly good bass at ANY price-point, these have to go to a good home. I acquired these used in trades and with the intention of making projects of them, but I just don't have the time.
Bass #1: 1996-1997 Fender Precision MIM in black with white pickguard and knobs, everything is stock
AFAIK, and it plays and sounds great. 8 lbs. on the dot on my digital scale. Gotta deduct a few points for cosmetics. No major chips or dents, but some little marks and scratches here and there. The most obvious cosmetic issue is the dulling of the upper horn, most likely due to someone wailing away on it like Joe Strummer with a pick. Headstock is not banged up, which I find rather ironic.
$200.00 includes shipping CONUS. No international shipping. The price includes a decent gig bag, or upgrade to a decent hardshell for $50.00.
Bass#2: 2002-2003 Fender Precision MIM in black with black pickguard and knobs, 8 lbs. on the dot on my digital scale, everything is stock EXCEPT for the pickguard and the most excellent DiMarzio P Bass pickups. These are great pickups. I have a set of SD QPs in a similar bass, and I think I'm selling the wrong bass. Love the DiMarzios just as much as the QPs. Okay, no looking back, this bass is in very good shape cosmetically, and plays like a dream. The setup is superb, it intonates perfectly.
$250.00 includes shipping CONUS. No international shipping. The price includes a decent gig bag, or upgrade to a decent hardshell for $50.00.
I'm an excellent packer, and I prefer UPS or FedEx (ground), your choice.
PayPal preferred, money order offers go on the back burner so I don't get my back burned, I'm sure you understand. Sorry, no trades, for sale only.
