Don't know why this hasn't sold. These are fantastic basses and look great in black. Plus the option of 2 guards and 2 bridges?

I bought his other (the blonde one) '50 Series P bass.
I can tell you the bass I received was a 99/100.
It was indistinguishable from a new bass.

The reviews on these basses are accurate.
I've had about 20 basses in the last 10 years and this bass is easily in the top 2 or 3.

For these MIM's (FSRs, '50s, '70's) the hit or miss days are over.
They are all hits!

I plan to get a black one and would jump on this but I have to let my funds recover a bit...

What a bass!

Mr L 01-16-2013 10:54 AM

I can't believe this is still here!

TN WOODMAN 01-17-2013 06:20 PM

If I didn't already have one (stock, same color) and hadn't bought 3 basses this year (2012) I'd pick this one up for the different pickguard and bridge.

TN WOODMAN 01-17-2013 09:31 PM

No you can't ! 5 of my 8 basses are black. My most recent is the Dakota Red '65 Rivoli that Instagator restored and promised my wife a Tag Huer watch before I buy any more basses. GLWTS.
