Pretty good looking (IMO) cream colored 80's precision (it's from '86 I believe) with a maple fretboard, no mods.
Some paint chipping to the lower edge of the body (see pics), nothing major especially for a 25 year old bass.
Frets in good shape, I'm guessing it wore flats most of it's life.
Quite light, I haven't got a chance to put it on a scale but I would estimate a very realistic 8 pounds.
I don't know what kind of wood the body is made out of but I find it surprisingly resonant, more so than most Fenders I've tried out in stores (except for that one MIM roadworn jazz!). B width (1 and 5/8) p bass neck with rolled off edges and no sharp fret ends.
The only issues (besides the nicks and chips) are that the bass was never shielded so it has some background static noise which I figure to be pretty typical and mostly apparent when practicing solo through headphones, and also the tuners are a bit stiff.
I'll slap on a set of brand new DR Hi-beams (45-105) and include a very nice tweed hardcase from Kaces.
Asking 625$ 575$ shipped by USPS to North America.
If the buyer doesn't want the case I will sell the bass for 550$ 500$ shipped.
I am willing to sell worldwide but will not include the case and separate the neck from the body for a smaller package. Shipping price to be determined on an individual basis.
In this case the bass itself would be 500$ 450$. Willing to trade for a nice Mesa Walkabout!

In any case it's not a Squier if that's your question! |

Plus, I have yet another one on the way as we speak. Otherwise, I'd get it. Best of luck, but I don't think you'll need it. Somebody's gonna' grab this one!
