Yes, fret access is limited. This isn't a bass for Jaco clones, but anything played from frets 0-16 are a breeze.
No, it doesn't dive as much as you'd think. I'm a skinny old fart and a suede strap keeps it steady.
Yes, it's as cool as it looks.
Going rate for new ones is about $799 and the Fender hard case ran $130 I think. It's a non-molded Fender case with a chrome logo like the amps. I'll post a photo later if anyone asks for one.
I'm asking $600 shipped CONUS. That's a steal. PRICE DROP $500 SHIPPED

And yes, I agree, this is actually a very nice bass. Later I'll post an iPhone photo that shows the nice grain of the fingerboard.
BUMP! Last week before it goes on eBay. I was really trying to avoid that. I thought the price is fair for even an unloved (by most) bass but no TBers are seriously interested in it. |

I was astonished when I first saw the fretboard. It's real purdy. |

I'd let it go for $450 to a local TBer since I won't have to ship it! |

Played it GC and liked it though, and fretboard does look particularly nice on this one. GLWTS |
