There are RBVs on eBay at absolutley ridiculous prices (that have been sitting there a while), hoping to find a collector (or fool?) who will cough up more than twice what these sold for a year ago. Similarly, I regularly see FS ads on TB in the amps section, asking within 10% of what a new head can be had for on eBay with warranty. When I buy used I do it to save at least 25% off retail, and usually more, but I think some people buy stuff without checking new eBay prices. On another note, there is a Mesa WA head on ebay that`s at least 7 years old with a straight buy price equal to current retail. YMMV.

I know the economy stinks right now and all but people on here and eBay are asking a hundred dollars less than new on basses that are used. Listing it as "practically" new or saying it's new. They get all insulted when you try to start up a negotiation. Used is used and they fill up the classifieds with endless bumps until they finally decide to keep it to avoid taking the hit or start being reasonable and drop the price a bit. I get the fact that it's their right post whatever price they want but it is what it is.... Once you drive it off the lot it just became used and dropped in value with very few exceptions if any.
