I bought this from fellow TB'er Dark Horse a few weeks ago. I've always loved the look of these basses and Dark Horse took it over the top by adding another Fender Humbucker in the bridge position. He also reshot the neck in aged nitro laquer and upgraded the tuners to Fender Vintage '75 RI tuners and upgraded the pots and wired it as V, V, T. Very, very cool bass with lots o' mojo but I realized I just don't need it.

HERE a sound clip with it strung with D'Addarrio Chrome Flats. I also tried stringing it with Fender Nickels and think it really made the bass come alive and gave it more versatile tones. Rolling the tone knob back brought it closer to the sound of the flats, roll up back up for a brighter, grindier tone. Both sets of strings are included.
