FS: Fender Standard Precision Bass (MIM), 1995, *MOJO*MOJO*, Classic, Black w/Extras!

For sale is my 1995 Fender P Bass (MIM) in great shape. A classic P-bass with tons of MOJO!

Overall it’s in really excellent condition and looks wonderful. The body does have some wear, but nothing dramatic and nothing that affects the bass' sound or feel (photos can’t show any of the wear) and still looks pretty darn nice. I love this bass! I know someone will thoroughly enjoy it.

Serial Number: MN5129583

It sounds fantastic – deep and smooth – what you would expect from a classic Fender P bass. Very reliable and sturdy!

The bass was JUST professional set-up (today) with brand new DR black-coated round-wounds [(medium gauge) and looks amazing with the black/white/RW contrast]. I also added brand new authentic Fender control knobs and purchased a brand new 'Vintage Pearl' Warmoth Pick-guard and matching p-up covers (see pic below), which I was going to install, but will now include both in the sale for those who prefer the original stock parchment white p-guard.
(All done this past week: spent $132 total).

Everything else is original/stock. I was planning to definitely keep it, but I really need to continue keeping my herd as thin as possible, so I came to my senses. I am simply not using it much. I just clean it and tune it. (Plus, the Mrs. is on my case).
But if it doesn’t sell in a week, I will probably keep it for my P-bass needs.

Comes with a Fender gig-bag.

Enjoy.

Asking $365 for all shipped CONUS.

The bass/gig-bag will be shipped securely and professionally. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Happy New Year!

Joey

Did the best I could with the Blackberry camera….

Hi Laurie,

Thanks for the nice bump. It is a great P...

NO, that is NOT ME () in the Avatar pic, HA!! So not my MO-"JOE". That is Paul Simonon of the Clash; arguably the coolest (albeit admittedly not the greatest technician) bassist of the era. Photo taken in 1979 when he smashed his, ironically enough, Fender P Bass during a show at the Palladium in NYC (I was a young boy and was at the show). The photo and bass are memorialized on the cover of the CLASH's London Calling album and at the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.

My P Bass has tons of MO-"JO", but not as much as Paul's.

Happy New Year.

Best,

Joey

Bump for a good guy and a classic bass.

This is one of those gig-perfect basses. Nicely broken in as is, and not so incredibly expensive that you feel the need the be overprotective of it.

Plug, play, lean it against something and go have a drink

Taste that? That's the taste of freedom (and stout, but mostly freedom).
