FS: Fender Ventures Jazz Bass, 1996. SOLD

Beautiful condition, and includes a TKL hard case. It was just about new, and I changed the pickguard and control plate. Original pickguard (still with factory sticker on it) included. If you would like, I could simply put the original back on.

Beautiful ash body, and the bass weighs about 10 lbs. It is also a 50th anniversary year bass. Only estimated 134 shipped to the U.S. About 450 made total. Made in Japan. Full factory specs listed after the photos.

$900 shipped within the continental U.S. Paypal preferred.

(The Fender logo case in the photos is NOT for sale. A TKL hard case is included with this bass)

Serious Buyer

How thick is the neck from the back of the neck to the top of the 1st fret?

And is 'about 10lbs' OVER or UNDER 10lbs. If you can get an accurate weight it'd bring us closer to a deal.

Thanks!

If I recall correctly, it was right on 10lbs. I will weigh it again this evening and report back.
I will also measure the neck thickness tonight. I would not consider it a slim neck, but not a baseball bat either.

Thanks anyway, but I'm really not interested in any trades right now.

I stand slightly corrected. It is a sweet "piece of ash with a little padding on it". 10.6 lbs, and a tone to prove it.

Trying to be as accurate as possible, I come up with 53/64" thickness from the back of the neck to the bottom of the first fret wire. Not too thick, not too thin.

Thanks for your honesty, DJ
That's a little too beefy and thick for my hand and I'm looking for 9 pounds or so.

Best of luck selling this beauty.
