Selling my Japanese made Fernandes P bass. This bass had some upgrades done by a pro which include a Bartolini pickup and preamp (with stacked treble and bass knob) and an easy access battery compartment.
For those of you who are not familiar, Fernandes Japan made and continues to make some of the best Fender killers out there. They are very true to the vintage styling and look but play much more like a modern instrument with nice balance and really fast necks.
As one would expect from a Japanese made instrument, the quality of build and materials is absolutely top notch. In all, the Ferdie Ps and Js are a very well kept secret and would make any player happy. And of course the bartolini pickup and pre sound killer with warm booming lows and nice highs to dial in if you want them.
For the tech hounds, the preamp is model NTBT-918.
This bass is in overall great condition. Some slight marks from sheet rock by the horns that I believe will buff out (see pics) and one small compression ding by the picture of my finger. These are almost imperceptible and no other issues to speak of. Color is a faint metallic red which presents more like a tradition red.
I am asking $SOLD shipped for this beauty. I would be open to certain trades but would prefer a straight sale as I have bought a bunch of stuff recently that I would like to cover by selling some things (see my other listings).
Pics below. Please PM with any offers or questions.
Thanks!

Free bump for a great TB'er who answered all my questions and requests about this bass..... !!!
Thanks for the bump. Edited the listing to note the Bartolini preamp is model NTBT-918 for those wondeirng.
Also, this bass has the vintage style low frets, a slightly shallower than Precision neck profile, and a nut width of about 1 5/8-- feels like a P but a smidge faster as these MIJ Ferds are known for doing.

i used to have a Fernandes P that i bought from Roger. It was everything he said it was and more! sadly though, i no longer have that bass.
mine was made in taiwan but it has killed every fender (including US made) that i have ever owned.
this is a steal for a quality precision from a great guy to work with. we've dealt twice and are about to a third time.
