This Bass is definately different than my PV Cirri. But describing that difference is difficult. If anyone out there is playing one feel free to chime in. I think this is more of a Rock bass than my PV Cirri but this may be more in my head than reality. I play christian music and see this more in the realm of Norm Stockton tone with Lincoln Brewster than in the area of Black Gospel Tones. I had a preconceived idea of one MM pickup and the first time i played a Flea was really surprised at the fullness or wide spectrum of tone. Was expecting something onesided I guess. I hope this helps some.
