I recall him emphasizing how much effort it takes him to carve the Presentation (carved top and chambering). I believe he said it takes him at least twice as much time as a normal bass - and of course this likely explains why the instrument is priced much higher than other models. Not only has the work been done but the effect is obvious when you play the instrument. It is incredibly alive and responsive.
This is a very rare, if not unique, opportunity for someone to acquire this instrument. This is the first time it has appeared on TB, and it may never come up for sale again. The instrument itself can not be replicated, not only due to it being owned by Anthony Jackson but the wood selection is extremely rare. No more 5A Chestnut of this caliber, very soon Fodera will not have anymore Pink Ivory.

It's one of the most gorgeous foderas I've ever seen and I would buy it in a heartbeat if I could, but it seems when people are looking to spend anything over $10,000 let alone $15k they tend to become SUPER picky. Plus times are tough all over for a lot of people. I bet if you opened it up for other fodera trades + cash this thing would move VERY fast but I certainly respect your wanting to sell it outright. Best of luck! If anybody's got the cash they're an idiot for not grabbing this beauty!!

My dream bass.
These are one of a kind, amazing basses.
But I'm coming up a little short on cash. |

God I love this Bass.
I heard that Anthony found a Lane Poor passive 6-string pickup.
And it it now what he has in #10 ?
But the Duncan is a great pickup too. |
