NYC basses are now discontinued... No more will be produced... This seems (to me) a 2010 model, maybe 2011 with the one piece neck but should have a 3 band pre if part of the "latest batch"
Also, this peg head is flat right?

Anyway this looks beautiful and pretty much in new condition... Good luck with sale

I have a 4-string Fodera NYC "born" around May 2011 and it has the 2-band pre. At the time Fodera offered a choice between the 2-band and 3-band as well three pick-up choices and (in some cases) a choice of top woods. Mine has the 2-band, dual-coil pups, an alder body and an amazing spalted maple top; and it has that "Fodera sound" in spades!

The way I mean newer version is meant to differentiate from the Japanese NYC bass way back. This redefined version gives you all the fodera-ish sound that we all long for. I will say wonderful jazz bass with strong fodera character in it!
