FS: Fodera Yin Yang Standard #18

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD SOLD SOLD I am the original owner, having purchased it from LA Bass Exchange. The instrument is amazing. Action is low, the tone is killer, and the looks beautiful. The only difference between this bass and a brand new one is some glossing of the finish in the slap area. This is typical for Foderas - they have a satin finish that slowly glosses with use. Beyond that no nicks, dings, scratches, etc.

So why am I selling? Well, this bass gave me the Fodera bug really bad. I ended up buying two of the basses that will be at the NAMM show this week - a Yin Yang Deluxe and a Monarch. With that cash outlay something has to give.

You can check this thread for more info and pictures as well as links to recordings with the bass. It is an amazing instrument.

I am not interested in trades so please do not bother to ask. This is straight sale only. Fodera has sold out of these and won't make any more for awhile. There might be some still available new but they are few and far between.

34" scale
1.5" nut
24 fret
8.42 lbs
EMG PJ pups
Fodera/Pope 3-band preamp

$3950 shipped via FedEx ground in the CONUS

It will go out in the original Fodera hard case and shipping box. Includes the original case candy. Prefer a "no fees" payment. Please check my feedback if you're worried about the purchase.

A YYDeluxe and a Monarch ? A really good choice !! I'm a Fodera fan and I have the pleasure to play with this two bass, so I hope that you will have this couple of bass as soon as possible. Good luck with this sale.

Good luck with #18, she will sell fast, and there are almost no YYS left for sale anywhere! I just picked up #34 tonight and I can guarantee that the buyer of #18 will LOVE IT!

Some recent live recordings. That is with fairly tired strings on it. I'll put a brand new set of Victor Wooten Signature nickels on before shipping.

Pics from tonight. Had it's last gig so what you see is what you get and it'll be sitting in the case waiting for the next owner (after I put a brand new set of VW sig strings on it).

Brand new set of strings installed, and nestled in its case ready for a new owner.

This is VERY tempting. I would have to sell a bunch of things to make it happen though.

Actually those aren't mine. One of mine is the Yin Yang Deluxe on the end. The other one shows up tomorrow. I've been doing arithmetic too - would like to sell this baby
