FS Franken Fender Blue Active Jazz 550 OBO

I got this off of TB recently and its been one of my main players for awhile, but I can't afford to keep it sadly. Great playing and lots of tones with a killer look that never fails to get compliments.

This has an audere 3 band preamp with the 3 way switch, goldenage pickups, a gotoh bridge, mexi Fender body, and a Squier VM Jazz neck. The logo on the Squier was removed and replaced with a Fender decal which wasn't clear coated and is now mostly gone from use.

The bass was also refinished by another TBer. Its a DIY finish, but looks pretty good close up (some minor uglies, some from use) and perfect from far away.

Recently just set up and will include 2 new sets of strings (cheapo nickels that actually sound really good and last awhile)
I will disassemble the bass for shipping to save on costs.

please don't be afraid to make an offer. Would take out the audere preamp and drop in a passive kit for less as well.

Thanks. This bass gets compliments on its tone and looks whenever I play it out without fail. Unfortunately I'm going through some rough times financially and can't afford to keep it. The only things I'm keeping are those with sentimental value and getting rid of everything else. I played this on Friday and all the eyes in the house were on me. That might've been because I was wearing a dress and had really big fake boobs, but thats besides the point.

This is a great live bass because its so easy to dial in so many different sounds to fit whatever style or what size room you're playing in.

Bump. Just set up with a fresh set of DR Peacock blues so now the strings match the bass.

This bass gets the GE seal of approval...

Sure is. Just set her up and the truss rod works great. Low action with no buzz.

They're passive replacements for Fender Jazz modeled after the 60s Fender pickups. They were in the bass when I got it.

There is one ding thats through the finish on the side of the bass that I got at the last gig. Not to the wood, but I guess its either the original finish of the bass or the undercoat. There are a few dings and love marks as well that go through the white undercoat that you can't notice from two far away. Most are about the size of a pinhead. Also realized I wore away some of the blue finish into the undercoat on the edge where I rest my arm.

This makes it sound worse than the bass really is, but I gig about 12 times a month and this bass has seen a fair number of gigs since I've gotten it.
