FS - FrankenFender Precision Bass I assembled this bass from parts bought here on TalkBass and it came out great! I've settled on a Highway One and don't have a need for it. Here's the details: Body - Fender MIM, nicely grained and matched ash body Neck - vintage 80's Fender Squier MIJ Bullet, 1 3/4" nut width, beautiful (brazilian?) rosewood fingerboard. Great shape with no issues. Stock tuners that work perfectly. Pickup - Fender USA '62 RI Wiring/Controls - Fender MIM. all cavities are copper shielded and this bass is quiet! Bridge - BadAss II Pickguard - Fender Comments - Even tho the neck and body are of different vintage, they're both Fender and fit as it made for each. The neck fits the pocket tight! The color of both match perfectly and the pics towards the bottom are more color accurate. It's strung with Fender Nickels and with low action. It plays great. PRICE REDUX - $290 SHIPPED CONUS! thanks for looking, tony |
