I sold this, traded back for it and while it's a wonderful fretless I just don't play fretless that much (and my other forsale bass is not moving). So it's back on the block. I'll enjoy playing it while it's here and let it go when the time comes.
G&L SB-2 fretless
- unlined ebony board
- 1.5" nut width, satin neck
- 8.0lbs
- Lake placid blue
- 3-bolt neck
- stacked volumes with an added tone control
- some wear (small dings, dents, etc.) but looks good and plays very sweetly
- hard case
- $695 shipped in the contiguous 48, paypal OK
A very nice fretless SB2. The lack of frets gets rid of a lot of the "clank" that an SB2 can produce (one of the reason I always put tone controls on my SB2s) and it can snarl/mwah nicely.
possible trades:
G&L Tribute JB-2
G&L SB-1
maybe a fretted SB-2
any would have to have 1.5" nut width, satin neck and weigh 8.75lbs or less.
