Warwick Streamer Stage II, 5 string fretless: asking $2200 OBO

This is one of my favorite fretlesses I've ever played. I'm not a huge fan of Warwicks in general but this thing is awesome. I got it back in 04 from Bass Northwest but it was used, from New Zealand originally I think. I hate to get rid of this thing but I found that I just don't play it very often. It would only be a few songs a gig that needed fretless and usually it wasn't worth the time of switching basses. Then I wouldn't play it for long periods of time and my intonation would be horrible when I tried to get back into it.

The bass is in good condition, but the gold hardware is starting to loose its color in a lot of spots. There is also a pretty significant wear spot in the body of the bass just above the neck pickup where I, and the previous owner, rested our thumbs. The fingerboard is in good shape, and everything works perfectly. Though I've had it for a long time to give you an idea of how much play time it's had I've only changed the batteries in the preamp twice.

It includes a custom flight case which I got with the bass. It's super high quality and I've used it on 2 occasions with no issues what-so-ever. The color of the wood on the flight case also matches the bass pretty well if you care about that kind of thing

If you have any questions just ask! Full gallery available here: http://s980.photobucket.com/albums/a...II%20Fretless/

Ok back to trying to sell this bass haha. I got kind of distracted but it is still for sale!

I found some tracks that I used this bass on many years ago. This was recorded direct with very little if any processing and gives a pretty darn good representation of what the tone of this bass is all about. I can also record some samples of it by itself instead of in a mix if anybodies interested. Here are the songs:

Future Man
Indian Song

It's the standard spacing which I believe is 16.5mm. It's definitely closer than a lot of the other 5s I've played which is kind if nice on a fretless where slapping is unlikely. I can measure the actual spacing when I get home in a couple of hours and I'll update this post.

New photos and price drop!

The photos that I had in there really weren't doing the bass justice so I've taken some new ones. You can check out the full gallery in high res here: Dropbox - Photos - Simplify your life

I'm also dropping the price to $2150 shipped anywhere in North America. I can't edit the original post any more, does anybody think these changes merit a new post?

I fixed up the hardware which was the main thing wrong with this bass and went ahead and created a new thread. Here it is: FS: Fretless Warwick SSII (fixed hardware, new photos)
