I got this in trade awhile back, and it is hands down one of the best warwicks I've ever owned!! The combo of the solid flame maple body with the ovankol/wenge combo neck is just a thing of beauty!
I can hear you now..."Josh, if this bass is so good, why the heck are you getting rid of it?"
Well, I'm not really sure. My p/j is getting a lot more play time, and I have a couple other things I'd like to pay for, so there you go.
The bass has been played and has some nicks, dings, a little buckle rash on the back, etc, but nothing horrible, and I've tried to show most of it in pictures for your benefit. The previous owner also moved the strap pin, which made the bass more comfortable, at least to me, so there is the old hole on the heel of the bass. See pictures.
The good about this bass - 2 band pre with push/pull active/passive, and the previous owner did the 18v conversion on this bass, which really does make it sound massive! Think of the tone of this bass as your typical warwick ballsy tone, but with a nice top end sizzle if you want it, rather than the somewhat muted (IMO) tone the bubinga bodied warwicks have.
The bass will come with the OHSC, as well as all the tools, a couple of cans of wax, keys to the case, etc.
I want $750 for the bass, or trade for a fender styled P/J, jazz or similar or a micro head of some sort.

Now the dings and such...
