I don't want to do this, because this is as nice an example of this bass as I've seen. BUT, I just don't have the time to cram the practice in on this one that I would need to successfully play it while singing quickly.
I need a bass that I can put right into gig action. I was hoping I could do it with muscle memory, but unfortunately my muscles are apparently downright lame when it comes to memory!
Three different lighting conditions: indoors with flash, indoors no flash and outside in bright sunlight. The brighter light conditions really bring out the nice reddish tones of the tiger ebony board.
Here is the previous thread from which I purchased it. Fretless Warwicks for sale!!!
Suffice to say this bass is virtually blemish free and has only very minor play wear. It weighs at most 9.5 pounds. The body is a really nice solid curly bubinga. The neck is emminently playable (no baseball bat!) and plays beautifully. I just need the crutch of frets right now.
The previous owner installed a drop D tuner, but it will also come with the original tuner as well. Comes shipped in Warwick original hardshell case.
[size="5"][b]FINAL Price Drop to $560 because I have a bid on Ebay on it and I'd prefer to sell here rather than EvilBay! PayPal is good.
I am STILL open to trades for another nice four banger with frets, so feel free to run what you got by me. I am willing to add a little cash for the right trade.

The pic in the original sale thread is very representative though and it is still in precisely the same condition. |

I have a clean Classic 70s Jazz with bridge, pup covers, thumbrest & 70s pattern tort pickguard. Just a thought, as I've always gassed for one of these. BTW, still loving that old red P-bass, though I did re-sell the ATK again.

If this were a P instead of a Jazz, we'd be talking. I really prefer P's over Jazzes. BTW, I think you may have me confused with someone else, as I don't recall either of the basses you mentioned (Red P and ATK?). |

I later bought the natural finish Ibanez back from you. I do prefer Ps myself (which is why I have three of them). Dave.

I don't think I've ever been to Clearwater in my life (although I did live in Melbourne for a few years from 80-83). I've also never owned a MIM P in my life either!
But no biggee. Guess you know more than one BuffaloBob! |

This is a German made Warwick.
The Drop D tuner works, although I really didn't use it at a gig.
The bass balances quite well, at least I think it does, although I wear my basses a bit higher, although not like necklace, so YMMV. It is barely 9.5 pounds if that.
There is llittle if any fretware on the board. If there is any, it is cosmetic, as I have recently treated the FB with fretboard oil and it is very smooth.
It has rounds on it currently, but I have noticed no tendency to wear since I've had it. |

I would rather sell here, so if anyone is on the fence, now's the time to grab it. Auction ends at about 8:20PM. I'll take $560 now and end the auction!
