Up for sale is a 1976 (i believe) P bass. Definitely some major mojo going on here. got it to do a restoration because thats my birth year.
the good...
Looks to be all original
tuners, bridge, pickups, truss rod all work
Nice birdseye in the neck
The not so good...
Pickgaurd is pretty beatup with a crack near the input jack.
Somehow the pots are missing the nuts I think I have some that fit.
the nuts broken past the g string it still works but it will need to be replaced.
The finish is beat up on the treble side of the fretboard. Still feels great to play though.
Weighs in about 11 lbs on my bathroom scale.
If I were keeping it I'd replaced the nut, the pickgaurd and probably the pots. Of course do a setup.
Looking for another 4 string (not really a p bass kind of guy) or maybe a bass head. Would take cash to even out a deal but don't have much to add. I do have a Line6 M13 and a Bag End S12b to even out a deal if someone wants.
Would sell outright for $900?
