Putting this up for as long as a couple of basses I'm looking at are still available. I really dig the Wunkay sound, but I rely on 5-strings for the majority of my gigs. If any trades, I would be interested in a Lull M5V, Skyline DJ5, Carvin Sb5000, Elrick New Jazz Standard NJS5. *All trade offers must be in the 8lb range.* I will be picky.
1982
Natural/rosewood
8.3 pounds -- This is the lightest GandL I have ever touched.
Neck condition: excellent, frets are great
Strung with Sadowsky blue Bright Nickels 45-105
Sounds incredible - quiet electronics with the famous L-1000 sound
Comes with OHSC (case in fair condition)
Finish: original - honest road wear is very light wear for age, has turned to a nice vintage yellow color, with lots of cracking in the finish
At one point there was a strap lock installed on the lower horn - leaving a small hole in that location. It has never bothered me and most of the time I forget it's there. It just adds to the story of this bass.
Asking $950 Shipping included - only to 48 con US.

They are hex poles, don't know if they are large or small, it's been a while since I've had a modern G&L. All I know is it sounds great, just a little redundant with my PJ and I'd like a fiver with a more modern J-bass tone. |

Revised trades would be MIJ/CIJ 60's or 70's RI Jazz basses and recent Fiesta Red RoadWorn's, plus cash. As always trades must be <9lbs.

| | | | I think
1 11/16 = 1 3/4 = C neck
1 9/16 = 1 5/8 = B neck
1 7/16 = 1 1/2 = A neck
Lots of vintage fenders measure up this way.
Awesome bass... If that was a B or A neck I would have tried to buy it. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
