Birdseye maple top over alder with cream and black body binding. 5-piece maple neck with nice figuring, dark rosewood board, birdseye top on the headstock. This is a passive bass, has a P pickup in a humbucker housing and a 16-pole J with a 3-way coil switch. These pickups are hot! They have individually adjustable pole pieces, like a G&L. Mechanically and electronically this bass is in excellent condition. Everything works great, tuners are smooth, good truss rod, straight neck, good pots, good output jack, light fret wear. The bass is clean and ready to play. Weighs about 9.5lbs.
The tone knob has been replaced; the volume and blend knobs are original. Has a couple small dings in the back of the neck at the 1st fret and the 11th fret. Has several other minor dings, two small cracks in the top, light scratches and finish wear like you would expect to find on a bass this age. The worst flaw is a dent in the butt end with a chip in the top. This was repaired by a previous owner and the repair is pretty good other than a bit of overspray, see pics. Doesn't detract from the overall look of the bass imo. Sounds bright with rounds, Green Day / Blink 182 type of sound, but the tone control works very well so you can roll off the highs and get a mellower sound.

Thanks for looking.
Edit: I've made three recordings with this bass and put them on Youtube. They're my first attempts at home recording so be nice! Links:
