FS/FT 1986 Kubicki Ex-Factor

I'm not 100% sure about this one either, but here goes. 1986 Kubicki Ex-Factor. Chances are, if you are looking at this, then you know what a wicked machine this is. However, for those unfamiliar, here are some of the specs:
Body wood I'm no quite sure, but I think it is Alder (TB'er AA63 states it's Maple... Thanks Sir)
Maple laminate neck with Ebony fingerboard
Kubicki tuner/bridge
Kubicki 6-way 18v electronics
Kubicki humbucking pickups
Comes with a hardshell case

It is in good shape. Yes, it could pass for a relic. The weight is very nice at 8lbs and the balance is excellent. The tone is a wall of thunder in active mode. Passive settings have very usable tones too. The 32" scale is a breeze to play.

So why am I selling... Well, I play 5 strings and it doesn't see much action. With me being somewhat gigless at the moment, it's definitely not seeing any action. Ok, enough of the excuses. I am asking $1600.00 + shipping. Of course, if I come to my senses, this thread may magically close.

Trades, well, I am not actively looking for anything, but you are more than welcome to run anything by me. Large or small I will consider em' all. +/- cash. Stuff I am interested in... Spector neck-thrus (fretted/fretless), Mesa hybrids, Neo-cabs, etc.

Here is a pic and more pics (detailed relic areas) to follow.

Thanks.

The body is maple. Nice bass, is the serial number in the 200's?

Maple? Really? Ok. I'm just so used to my maple bodied Spectors that I would have never guessed it could be Maple and be as light as it is. Thanks for the info. Number is 407.

Closed for now...

Looks like this one is going to be heading back to Kubicki for repairs. My apologies to all interested parties.
