This one is kinda always been on the chopping block now ever since I converted to J's and P's recently. I Love this bass, and have owned it since 1999. I am the second owner. I would love to keep it but I need to move up into a 5 string. Every year I take this bass into Elderly for appraisal. This year they stated a selling price for $990, and told me that it was vintage!

$750 or best offer. Trades with Stingray/Bongo 5.

Going to Ebay very shortly!

Everything.mp3 4.3MB

Close Your Eyes.WMA 3.8 MB - Series Switch.
Away From It All.WMA 3.6 MB - Parallel Switch.
Listen.mp3 3.6 MB - Single Coil Switch

Sorry for the Various file formats.

Almost forgot this one soundclip I made when I finished building the Studio computer for the above producer. This was the official test of the new rig.

Sterling_Solo 1.6MB

It was a little late at night, but if i remember correctly the solo run stuff was done in series with a hefty boost of treble, slight mid cut, bass flat; the background harmonics were done in parallel with the bass dropped 1/2 from indent, treble/mids flat.

Only effect used was digital delay on the solo. Enjoy.

Ok guys, we still have this bass here. I put some new D'addario XL's on it last night and took it out to a gig, and my Jazz got absolutely no play.

This is an amazing, wonderful-playing bass. Somebody snatch it before I change my mind and keep it.

Bump for an excellent deal.

I would have snagged this if it were a Stingray.

Just like a jazz bass. Slim, comfortable, with a nice radius to the board.

No Buzzes! cant beat that.

This is ridiculous! $750 is a steal folks!! I've got an '95 Sterling that will spank any new Sterling or 'Ray out there. When amp shopping this year I always played the demo Sterlings to test an amp. The feel of the new ones just can't compare to the older ones. Those birdseye necks are fantastic! Someone jump on this!
