FS/FT: 1995 Dingwall Voodoo Zebra 5 #1189

This a very nice vintage Dingwall that I'm just not playing as much as I thought I would. I have recently developed some tendon issues in my left hand and I'm finding that a standard scale 34" bass is easier and less painful for me to play.

It's in beautiful condition and comes with an original Dingwall bag and an unused set of strings. The body is Northern Ash and the board is Pau Ferro. The preamp is an Aguilar OBP-3. The tuners are very cool original locking Sperzels. Sheldon told me that the bass is a "pre-fire" model so unfortunately all of his records on this bass were destroyed. He estimated it to be a 1995 vintage based on the photos and the serial number.

No dings, no dents with just some very minor playing wear. It's a beautiful fanned fret 5 string with phenomenal tone and a low B to die for.

I have $2,500.00 invested in it so that's what I'm asking for it. Of course reasonable cash offers will always be considered. Shipping included in the Continental US.

I am open to trade ideas but I'm kind of picky and I have pretty much everything I want bass-wise. Some possibilities might be 34" scale basses by Celinder, Lull, Nordstrand, Xotic, Status or Zon. Feel free to run anything by me though, the worst that would happen is that I say "no thanks".

I will keep my new year's resolution, I will keep my new year's resolution, I will keep my new year's resolution, I will keep my new year's resolution (hears U2's Desire droning in the back of his head and tries to drown it out with King Crimson's Discipline)....................

Well I think it's a "done deal" but if anything changes I'll be sure to let you know. Thanks for your interest!
