FS/FT: 1996 Spector NS-2000/5

1996 Spector NS-2000/5 bass
Trans red with quilted maple top over maple winged neck-through body
Neck is 3 piece rock maple with rosewood fingerboard
Black tuners & bridge, Brass nut, Schaller chrome strap locks
EMG 40HZ passive pickups paired with a 9V EMG BTS pre-amp
Wired Vol/Blend/Treble/Bass
Currently strung with DR Black Beauties 45-125
Really good on battery life. Haven't had to change the battery since I purchased it
Minor scratches on edge of body (1 pictured below that is through the clear coat) & some finish missing around the input jack (also pictured below)
Comes with oval hard shell case (in gigged condition but still solid)
EDIT: 1-3/4" Nut width, String spacing is 16.5mm at the bridge. Neck thickness is 3/4" at the 1st fret and 1" at the heel.

Asking $600obo shipped (I'm in Canada); or will trade for a light weight solid colour Fender Jazz or P/J bass with maple fretboard; or a Spector NS-2A.

How low can the action go? Do these basses have the carved top/back?
Oh, and what's the nut width?

The action can go quite low. I play with it very low. It can probably go a few mm lower, still, but I'm rather heavy handed and annoyed by fret buzz.

The bass has a carved top/back, yes. It's not as curved as the NS-2, though.

I will take nut width measurements when I get home from work.

Trade?

Any interest in an LTD Vintage 204 series with an EMG PJ set installed? It's basically an aged finish Maple neck P with an EMG PJ set. I bought it for a vintage type bass to use live but I'm all about the Spectors and it just isn't my thing.

While I like the look of the Relic'd body, I'm not a fan of ESP/LTD basses. Sorry.

Very nice nut width, do you have any pictures with a side on view of the neck? or front to back thickness measurements.
