97 Modulus quantum 5 in excellent condition. I'm the second owner, and have had it for about 8 years. Stunning amber AAAAA quilt maple top, the pics really don't do it justice. Bartolini pups, 18v active electronics. Originaly had gold hardware, everything except for the bridge was switched to black. All of the original gold hardware will be included. This one's a gem, great feel to the neck, the best one of the quantum series basses that I've played. I believe that the body is alder, but i'm not 100% certain. Issues: small scuffmark of right side of the headstock corner, not really noticeable. It kind of blends in with the graphite composite. Also, the volume pot has a kind of faint static when the knob is being rotated past a certain point. Again, it's hardly noticeable, but thought I'd mention it for the purpose of full disclosure. OHSC included. It's structurally sound, but cosmetically has seen better days. the four feet on the bottom have come off, and caused the plastic to start to chip off. All in all the bass is in really great shape, and given the two minor issues I'd give it a 9 out of 10. $1795.00 shipped. I'll be posting a few more pics |
